Name: Lisa Hill Race: Fae-born Age: 17 Sex: female Profession: student Location: Whycocomagh Affiliations: Rakin School of the Narrows Disposition:
Character Background and Description Lisa Hill is near the end of a rebellious phase. Her mood and actions are improving, but she still wears all the fashion trends of teenage angst. With think eyeliner, studs on her jacket, and tears in her jeans, she would look intimidating to many her age if it weren't for her minority status.
Lisa's mother, who took the name Christine, immigrated from Japan. After ending up with a daughter of the fae, life has been difficult for them. Six years ago, Christine began dating again, and has been seeing Richard Brown for three years now. For a long time, this was fuel for Lisa's rebellion; she thought her mother did this to keep the family afloat. Now, she has started to see that maybe her mother really does love this man.
Lisa wishes it were easier to hide her fae heritage, but that becomes harder when your only human lineage is of far-eastern descent and no father in sight. With no other ethnicity mixed into her, there are only so many possibilities in this white-dominated area as to her descent; it's easy to guess. She's not vocal about it—hiding abilities like that can be useful for someone with few other means—but that can only take her so far. Not fitting into cliques at school as easily as the racial majority, Lisa finds herself with plenty of time to explore what it means to be descended from the fae, and what that can do. She does have a few friends however, and she cherishes them.
She did meet her father a couple times, but only because he recognized her instantly. The experience was... strange.
